The property is approximately 10 minutes' walk from the large and impressive beach at Tavronitis, although guests will be pleased to know that there are plenty of spots even closer to the villa in which to relax and enjoy a cooling dip.
The village of Tavronitis is situated inland and can be reached on foot in approximately 15 minutes.
It is a charming village that offers visitors a more laid-back experience compared to some of the busier tourist spots on the island.
It is known for its rural charm, natural beauty, and proximity to both the sea and the mountains.
Here you will discover several traditional tavernas and cafes, offering freshly prepared dishes, such as moussaka, souvlaki, and grilled fish, along with homemade raki and local wines.
Dining in Tavronitis allows guests to experience authentic Cretan hospitality in a relaxed and unhurried environment.
Close by there a handful of local shops where you can buy fresh produce and everyday essentials.
