The lakes offer free coarse and carp fishing, while woodland trails invite gentle rambles amongst an abundance of wildlife and wonderful bird-watching. With Bideford, Barnstaple, Torrington and a sandy beach all within just 5 miles it is a truly convenient setting from which to explore North Devon and all its attractions.

An amazing location with a fantastic caring team. We arrived later than expected after a long journey, Liz could not have been more helpful and even came to checkWe were settled as we had lost signal so she couldn’t get in contact. Comprehensive welcome pack and super lodge ! We hope to return soon !

The lodge had everything we needed, we literally just brought ourselves. The beds were cosy with cotton sheets and duvet covers. The setting was very cosy and warm and the lights and heating was on waiting for us when we arrived on a cold November Friday evening.

lovely little lodge with a few mod cons and good bedding, for those who need tech good luck but for me and others who dont perfect.lovely veranda overlooking a decent sized pond for fishing plus birds come and say hello with a Robin coming into the lodge for a nosey and quite often sat with us on the veranda , very clean and well maintained
