Welcome to Ô fil 2 l'eau, a true haven of peace nestled in the hills above Saint-Jean-Saint-Maurice-sur-Loire, one of the jewels of the Loire.
Ideally located just an hour's drive from Lyon, Clermont-Ferrand and Saint-Étienne, and a few kilometres from Roanne, our ‘little corner of the world’ offers you an incomparable getaway.

The gîte is a former wine farm set in 6 hectares of countryside overlooking the Loire with direct access to the private beach below.

The accommodation
On the ground floor:
- A fully equipped kitchen opening onto the dining room, including: hob, fan oven, electric kettle, food processor, microwave, filter coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher, etc.
- A barbecue area
- A veranda of approximately 20 m², which can be used as a dining room or games room, with a view of the Loire
- A small living room with a wood-burning stove
- Bedroom 1: ‘Tournesol’ with a queen-size bed and a mezzanine with a double bed and a single bed, as well as an en-suite shower room with WC, access to the terrace with a view of the Loire
- Bedroom 2: ‘Grain d'Orge’: a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with toilet

Upstairs:
- A 25 m² library/TV lounge with a double sofa bed
- Bedroom 3: ‘Lotus’: two single beds that can be pushed together to make a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with toilet
- Bedroom 4: ‘Tilleul’: two single beds that can be pushed together to form a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room with WC

Outside:
- A 35 m² terrace with furniture to enjoy sunny days.
- A beautiful 4,000 m² south-facing garden with sun loungers and views of the lake below.
- A private path leading to a beach on the lake, accessible directly from the garden.

For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: high chair, washing machine, cot, ironing board and iron, and barbecue.

Neighbourhood:
A true ‘end of the world’ where nature, silence and zen reign supreme, come and discover the village of Saint-Jean-Saint-Maurice-sur-Loire, voted ‘Most Beautiful Village in the Loire’ in 2023, thanks in particular to its exceptional views. It has a rich heritage, with its historical monuments: an ancient medieval keep, castle walls, sundial house, etc. The village is also home to several artisans and is now part of the ‘Wine Route’. Restaurants, supermarkets and other shops are located 10 km from the village.

Transport:
If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the house's private car park, which can accommodate up to 12 vehicles.

For other modes of transport, here is some information that may be useful:
- Nearest train station: Roanne, 17 km away (about 25 minutes by car)
- Nearest airport: St-Etienne, 65 km away (about 50 minutes by car); Lyon Saint-Exupéry, 138 km away (about 1 hour 30 minutes by car)
