Fishing is available from the riverbank (seasonal, licence required) with many options of fish to be caught.

A two man sit on fishing kayak and fishing dinghy/rowboat is provided for guests with life jackets provided.

A second visit, enjoyed even more than the first. Warm, very well equipped and comfortable, the cottage has wonderful views over the Yare all day and is close to the station and several above- average places to eat. Even for non- fishers, non- boaters like ourselves it is the perfect place for a quiet holiday.

Owners had gone beyond what you would expect in a holiday rental. Adequate amounts kitchen equipment, condiments, herbs, first aid equipment and electrical extension leads. Everything else as in the details. No problems with booking it again.

Herons View has everything you would need for a great stay 5*.Our first time staying here and could not recommend it enough.It was clean and comfortable with a great view .
