This charming semi-detached cottage boasts a light and spacious open plan living space, alongside a comfortable double bedroom snuggled within the eaves.
The nearby market town of Stowmarket has lots of great places to eat, drink and shop and is also home to the Museum of East Anglian Life, which is well worth a visit.
Venture a little further however and you will find that you are in the perfect position to explore Suffolk, or alternatively hop on a train to the medieval city of Norwich, bursting with interesting spots to visit and sure to impress the history buff in the family.
The much celebrated and photographed villages of Lavenham and Long Melford are close by, as are Ipswich, with its picturesque quay, Bury St Edmunds, with its famous abbey and amazing Christmas market, and Newmarket, where you can enjoy horse races and more.
Nature lovers should take the time to visit Thetford Forest, where the more adventurous can also experience Go Ape.
Coastal lovers can explore the Suffolk Heritage Coast, starting with Aldeburgh and then traveling to Southwold with its pier and painted beach huts.

We had a little bit of a problem gaining access, as the contact details were incorrect, we needed a code to get the keys from the keysafe box, we were able to speak to one of the neighbours and she contacted the owner of the cottage for us. The cottage was a little on the chilly side but once we got the heaters on it was fine.

The owner has made a great effort with this property. The welcome pack was amazing. Really clean and well maintained property couldn’t recommend highly enough. Would definitely return for a future stay.

Good situation for visiting lots of the local area and National Trust properties. Although I had a problem with the hot water this was quickly rectified by the owner.
