Ferienhaus 'Villa Da Floresta' mit privatem Pool, Wlan und Klimaanlage

Came over to support my niece in the lacrosse European championship in Braga. They didn’t have games every day, so wanted somewhere which offered variety. This rural, private location suited us very well as we had our own transport, being within easy reach of Porto, Douro Valley, beaches and Braga. So much more besides we didn’t explore. Antonio, the host, was very helpful and wanted us to enjoy stay.

Unfortunately nothing!

Our recent stay at this holiday house was disappointing and far from relaxing. The location was inconvenient, situated in a noisy and unpleasant area directly opposite of a milk farm. The constant noise from the farm, combined with the loud humming of the fridge and pool pump, made it difficult to enjoy any peace and quiet. The house itself was old-fashioned and lacked modern amenities. Upon entering, we were greeted by a strange, humid smell that lingered throughout our stay. The small pool was another letdown. Overall, the entire property felt neglected and run-down and the surroundings give the impression of being in a dump rather than a holiday retreat. Unfortunately, we were so uncomfortable that we decided to leave after just one night. I would not recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We expressed our unconformity to the host, who did not accept our points and therefore did not refund any money.
