Mallow Cottage is a charming stone cottage nestled in the picturesque village of Langton Matravers, Dorset, enjoying beautiful hill and sea views, a private hot tub, and accommodation for six guests plus an additional child in the family room.
Ideally situated for exploring Swanage, the Isle of Purbeck and the Jurassic Coast, it offers a welcoming base for families, couples and friends seeking a relaxing coastal escape.
Set over three floors, the cottage opens into an open-plan living space where guests can spend time together preparing meals in the kitchen, gathering around the dining table, or relaxing in the sitting area after a day exploring the surrounding countryside.
The layout lends itself well to social occasions, while the TV and WiFi provide entertainment during quieter moments indoors.
The bedrooms are arranged across the upper floors, comprising a family room with a king-size bed and a single, along with a second-floor double bedroom and a second-floor twin, offering flexible sleeping arrangements for a range of groups.
A shower room with walk-in shower provides a refreshing space to start or end the day. Outside, guests can unwind in the enclosed garden, complete with outdoor furniture and a hot tub, offering a welcoming spot to relax while taking in the surrounding views.

The kitchen is equipped with oven, hob, microwave, kettle, and toaster, while the sitting area offers a TV and WiFi. The bedrooms consist of a family room with a king-size and single, a second-floor king-size, and a second-floor twin, served by a shower room with walk-in shower, basin, and WC and there is a Cloakroom with basin and WC. Gas central heating is provided, with fuel and power included in the rent, along with bed linen and towels. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with furniture and a hot tub. Off-road parking is available for one car. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Note: There are steep stairs within the cottage. Note: There may be building work access issues as per Sea Pink Cottage and studio.
Please note: The property is located on the main road through the village.
Please note: The internal staircase is quite steep and compact, in keeping with the property’s character, and may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
Please note: Mallow Cottage forms part of the Old Malthouse School. The School site is being redeveloped and having new homes built throughout 2025/2026. The access route to this property is affected and this could impact your stay and views. Current pricing has been reduced to reflect this.
